Water is Life Photo Contest for Philippine Residents.

With the objective to raise public awareness on the causes and adverse impacts of climate change on water resources in the country through the powerful medium of photography, the National Water Resources Board (NWRB), German Agency for Technical Cooperation (GTZ) Water and Sanitation Program, and the Philippine Water Partnership is organizing once again “Water is Life” photo contest.

This photo contest is open to all professional and amateur photographers who are Philippine residents (or those who established residency in any part of the Philippines for at least six continuous months as of January 1, 2009) regardless of citizenship.

The top three prizes for this contest are as follows:
•First Prize – P25,000.00
•Second Prize – P20,000.00
•Third Prize – P15,000.00

ONESPORT Photo Competition 2009

OneSport Sports and Fitness Events Guide is holding a month long photo contest entitled: ONESPORT Photo Competition 2009 with the theme: Best Action Shot in Sports.

About The Competition:
* Open to amateurs and professional photographers
* Photos capturing a real action, a real moment or a real emotion in any sports discipline (commercial sports, outdoor/indoor sports, adventure sports, extreme sports, etc . . .)
* Photos can be taken from a professional digital SLR camera and/or point and shoot digital cameras
* Digital manipulation is limited to color enhancement, levels, brightness and contrast adjustments only to optimize a photo
* Entry submissions will be open from June 15, 2009 to July 15, 2009 only, Mondays to Saturdays 10am to 5pm

How To Join
* Download the registration form from either Onesport’s site or Clickthecity.com.
* Joining fee is PhP 350.00 per person.
* Maximum of 5 entries per participant
* Photo entries should be printed in an 11 x 14 inches size matte photo paper, with black background and white strip border, with your name and contact details written at the back of the photos.
* Photo entries can be submitted in color or black and white
* Submit the fully accomplished registration form together with your photo entries and joining fee in a big envelope to Onesport office at 1852 Asuncion St., Santiago Village, Reposo, Makati. Label the envelope “Onesport Photo Competition 2009” and put your name under.
* Include also in the envelope the cd of the unedited, original file of the photo/s (raw or jpeg file or others) and also the file of the final photo/s submitted (the 11×14 size photo with borders). Label the cd with your name, contact details and the title “Onesport Photo Competition 2009”.
