    • Related posts brought to you by Yet Another Related Posts Plugin.]]>     If you are a novice user and owner of a Nikon DSLR camera (or you just want a refresher course), check out Nikondigitutor.com for a brief yet very helpful beginner’s tutorial depending which Nikon model you may have. Thanks to the Nikon Philippines Fan Page at Facebook, of which I am a member, it prompted me to this tutorial site.


    The tutorial consists of guidelines and tips 1.) before shooting and getting started – which tackles topics about the camera (lenses, battery, memory card, strap, viewfinder focus, and the shooting information display) 2.) taking pictures – which discusses about the different modes: auto, portraits, landscape, flash, landscape and closeups; and 3.) after shooting – quick retouch, making movies, RAW processing and other retouch options.

    We’ve been using our Nikon D60 for a couple of years now and we’ve learned so much about this tutorial like the use of auto (flash off) mode, tips on how to capture better in portrait and landscape modes. This tutorial has made me more interested with photography now and I’m loving our D60 more than ever.

Include in the list a pale and anemic looking face so just imagine how have I been working hard lately. I’m not complaining really..in fact, I’m thankful even because it only means that I’ll have an additional funding for the husband’s ultimate Christmas gift wish: a new lens for our ND60.

    The other side of the world can surely feel my take’s theme this week. This is my niece’s floater and was shot when we had our beach getaway at Laiya, San Juan, Batangas last May. March to May are our summer months here in my part of the woods. Here’s another shot of the pink floater enjoying the beach and having fun with her “suitor”.

    Bright and red lanterns inside the cafe we dined at the other weekend making the ambiance more conducive to hearty and big feasting. This is the first time we ate here and I love the dining experience..from the sumptuous food to the elegant and homey interiors to friendly staff.

    From a chocolate banana parfait to a sinfully delicious chocolate s’mores cake, now comes a Garlic Creamy Hamburgh Steak photo share. My apologies if I’ve been getting you drooled for the recent photo sharing I’ve been doing. Believe me, I don’t mean to have them uploaded simultaneously. Those are really the recent photos me and the husband took in the last few days. As I’ve blogged, we had a sumptuous Father’s Day lunch at Tokyo Cafe last week, thus, all the tastefully looking and tempting food photos. Our tummies were the most satisfied and I tell you, don’t be surprised if the next photos I am photo sharing are diet pills. Haha! Hubby thinks that he’s gained a kilo in a span of just one week. Lucky me I don’t gain weight that fast so I’m not worried even if I glutton.
