Every time he sees me working in front of my laptop, my nephew always bugs me and insists that I search online for a new Wii MotionPlus. He was gifted a new Virtua Tennis 2009 game a week ago and he found out that it will be more thrilling and exciting if it’s used with a Wii MotionPlus especially that we found one on sale. I actually gave in a while ago and I almost bought one for myself. Then it suddenly dawned on me, why will I buy Wii accessories when I don’t even have a Wii yet. LOL. But who knows, later this year..I’ll have enough savings to buy one for me and the husband.

A number of my friends have already tried playing the new Sims 3 which was just released earlier this month. I was once addicted to the original version of this strategic life simulation video game created by Maxis. From what I heard Sims 3 rocks and even a lot more fun than Sims 1 or 2. The most notable improvement is that the houses and neighborhoods are now seamless meaning the entire neighborhood is now in just one map. Players can now explore and interact with their neighborhood without loading time. It is currently released on the following platforms: Windows, Mac OS X, iPhone OS, Android, mobile devices. There are rumors that this will become available on PS3 players but there are no confirmations on these yet. It was reported that in its first week, The Sims 3 sold 1.4 million copies making it the most successful PC game launch by Electronic Arts (EA).

Are you also like me who loves shopping online? Well, it’s not that I habitually do it and I’m still far from being a Rebecca Bloomwood (of the book/movie Confessions of a Shopaholic) but if I have some spare paypal earnings to spend, shopping through the web certainly completes my day. My online cart usually comprises of stuffs for Asher – books, clothes, toys and other baby stuffs that I don’t normally find in the malls or if there is, the online price is usually a lot cheaper than on those from the real racks.
Just like shopping in real life, one must also be wise, smart and cautious when buying online. Credit card and paypal, which are the usual modes of payment, can easily be hacked. Searching for a thing you want can be a tedious task especially if your knowledge is limited about online shops. Good thing there’s a Google-like reference and shopping guide search engine that will yield all pertinent information, sale alerts and the possible stores that sell the stuff you wish to buy. Let’s say you are into Video Games and is wishing to buy a video game console but can’t decide which among the new ones would best suit your requirement and price, Shopwiki has a Video Game Console guide that will briefly tackle the differences among these consoles. And so let’s say you’ve decided to go for a Nintendo Wii, Shopwiki will further discuss about Wii’s features and specifications and will likewise, proceed to a list of online stores that sell such. That way, you get to compare prices and will thereby, enable you to save and what a happy shopper you could be. Just be cautious though as you might end up addicted to filling your carts and get shopaholic like Rebecca Bloomwood because of this easy shopping access online.
