0 commentsAfter a whole day of hard work of online, wifey and mommy tasks, I don’t think that there’s a better way to enjoy and spend the much coveted “me” time than watching my favorite tv shows and flicks on TV. That is of course, only when I have settled down the little one to sleep. Sometimes hubby and I together watch the downloaded mpeg movies to his ipod. However, we don’t have much downloads that’s why we usually just watch whatever flicks that are on TV…yeah even the boring ones, we don’t have a choice. If only we have a Satellite TV, which means more channels and consequently, more shows and movies..then, we’ll definitely have a choice. Lots of options, in fact. However, we need to have FTA satellite receivers and IHub/Dongle systems installed first. With all honesty, I am clueless about these technical stuffs that’s why I have to consult or ask the husband first before coming up with a decision. 0 commentsSince the husband rendered overtime earlier this evening and the little one was asleep, I killed time waiting for him by organizing my youtube uploaded videos. They’re mostly of my son’s videos from birth to month birthdays to special milestones to first birthday to random ones. My little boy has grown a mile! I can’t help but get teary-eyed every time I play and watch his first birthday video. The photographer we booked has videography services so they were the ones who captured it majestically. It’s not as grand the way post production experts do (although I wish they could have done it the-GroovyLikeaMovie-way) but it’s worth watching and keeping. I can’t wait it to show Asher and I bet he’d love to see it even though he won’t remember even a single detail of it. Speaking of videos, I still can’t get enough watching sample videos done by Groovy Like a Movie, a production company whose outputs are top quality productions for corporate videos, TV commercials, live events and professional training video projects. Their business name may actually speak for their service, but wait ’til you see their videos and be awed how groovy their production can become.

0 commentsAside from taking pictures of the little one, hubby and I are also fond of documenting his antics through video. However, we haven’t been able to take new videos of him lately because our Powershot S3 IS’s video feature doesn’t seem to function. We can actually use the record button but when we try to play it back, there’s none. Meaning it isn’t saved. As suggested by the husband, I will try to recharge the batteries later because that might just be the problem. Hope it isn’t broken or something. The reason why we love our Canon Powershot S3 IS and we can’t dispose it yet is because of its semi-SLR features plus its video functions. We’re still saving up for a handycam so our S3 IS has been our saver for quite some time now. I’ll be linking my youtube profile in a bit should you wish to see my little one’s first videos.
I’m really excited to take more videos of him now because he has learned so many new antics lately..like how he communicates to us. We don’t have yet the
Toddlers Language Video a friend was recommending to us to use but it seems Asher’s been picking up more and more syllables and babbles lately. You should hear how he exclaims “bu” whenever he sees balloons, balls and Mcdonalds; “ssshhh” for fish and “baba” for bye-bye. I’m excited about the video though. It worked for her 24 month old son who can now say and understand a lot of English words and even Spanish! The mom was so surprised to hear her son say “hasta pronto!” which she even didn’t know what that meant until she sat down and watched the video with her son. It must be that effective.
