Comment on Sports Memorabilia Review

My husband and son are both sports enthusiasts. Aside from being athletic and up to date with their favorite sports teams, they also love collecting sports memorabilia that they treasure so much.

Comment on CarpetExpress Review

I’m also looking for a supplier of nice vinyl patterns for my new office. I just checked out Carpet Express and I found the exact design that I have in mind. Since the site is brimming with attractive carpets, I think I just found the perfect carpet for my office, too.

Comment on Military Auctions Review

military auctions are a great place to find historical guns and antiques and a great venue to sell pre-owned guns. With Affiliated Auctions & Realty, it’s interesting to note that it’s not only a bidding place for guns but also for jewelries, coins, real estate and many more.

Coin Collection

Our house help in was dusting the other day a stack of old photo albums when I saw my sister’s almost "fossilized" coin collection album. She used to collect coin currencies from different countries several years back, either through trade or mostly, they were hand-me-downs from hobbyist persons she’s acquainted with. Eventually and for some reason, my sister got allured more with her stamp collections that she ran out of interest in searching for more rare coins. Perhaps, if I’ll refer US Gold Bureau’s site, she’ll get back her groove again to collect for more coins. In this site, she can find even the rarest coin available. Aside from gold coins, they also have a buy-and-sell market for precious metal products.

Custom Flags

United Nations celebration is just a few months away so I’m sure that custom flags of different nations will be very well in demand again. Glad to hear that there’s HTCustomFlags.com to satisfy this need.

Grocery Shopping List iPhone App

Whenever we do our grocery shopping every weekend, we always troop to the supermarket with my iTouch in tow.  It is because I need my very handy and clever assistant, the Shopping List app from Hensoft.  I do not list down my shopping list on a paper nor do I trust my memory but instead, I just make use of this very helpful tool.  The reason why I love this app are as follows:

- I can manage several shopping lists (which I entitle by date)

- I can create my own category

- I can easily add items accordingly

- I can quick-select products from previously entered ones

- It has an easy interface

- It is capable of modifying, moving and deleting single items

And best of all, it’s just free!  If you’re into online shopping, I guess, this can also be used the next time you buy diet pills online.  Whether online or offline, shopping is the same after all.

Download this free app from here.

Tools For The Husband

I’ve been meaning to buy the husband these tools since we now have our Little Mansion.  These will be useful and helpful for minor repairs and installations in the house that the husband can do himself.

I have enough savings for these already but I am yet to find a kind friend who’ll shop these tools for me at Walmart then ship it internationally to here via LBC or sea freight.  Or perhaps, these can be ordered too at wholesale liquidators if they have cheaper offerings.  I would have ordered these myself however, the international shipping charges are just too much.

Harry’s Lappy Stand

My Harry (which I fondly call my HP G60 lappy) is enjoying its new “partner”.  Now I can do my online thing when I’m on the bed or on the couch with much comfier and less back straining position.  I can even now watch videos or do my “copy and paste” work while lying down.

It looks cool, right?  At a first glance, it looks like a fitness equipment while my son’s nanny even said that it looks like a robot.  The stand and the panel are both adjustable in height and in degrees of inclination.  It also comes with a cooler so this laptop stand is definitely for a heavy lappy user such as me.  Got this for only Php 580 from, where else…

Steak Is Actually A Diet Meal

DSC_5785

Why is it that an inviting plateful steak like this requires one to immediately research for quick weight loss tips?  Perhaps, it’s the notion that it yields so much fats that it causes instant tremendous weight gain.  But in reality, do you know that steak can be a typical diet food?  It is because steak is rich in protein and it actually helps reduce one’s appetite.  It does so by keeping the blood sugar levels in the fat burn range.  This means that cravings and feeling hungry are kept at bay.  This is the reason why popular diet meals (South Beach and Atkins Diet) include steak as part of their meals.  But for every steak meal, do remember to include generous portions of green veggies like green beans, broccoli, or brussel sprouts for complex carbo or brown rice, oats, and sweet potatoes as fat burning carbs.  Do not fret adding butter and olive oil because they are actually good fats.
