I haven’t been able to share announcements and news about upcoming local Photography Seminars.  Got no time to research aside from the fact that searching for this topic has become pretty tough lately. It’s either I wasn’t searching hard enough or there weren’t really enough seminars and workshops lately.  How I wish it’s as easy as searching for healthcare jobs on the web. 

Anyway, in the course of my 2-hour googling, here’s one upcoming workshop that I found:

• SEPT 12 – 8:30am to 12:30nn (part 2) Sunday

What to bring:
The participant must have a Digital SLR Camera with controls for aperture and shutter speed. (or any camera with a dial mode for manual setting, ex: Panasonic Lumix LX3 or Canon G11)

Habagat.

The weather has been pretty predictable these days.  It’s been heavily raining practically almost everyday.  It’s the rainy season, as Kuya Kim tweets, no typhoons or tropical cyclones, just a typical South West Monsoon behavior (Habagat).  With the rainy season and with the onset of the colder Holiday season, I bet this is the perfect time for those who have outdoor hot tubs to start searching for hot tub covers that can protect their tubs from harsh elements but can also easily be detached when the need to have a dip in the relaxing warm water arise.

A College Student Soon

I just realized that I’m indeed getting older after learning that my US-based nephew has recently taken sat prep courses.  I can’t believe that he’s soon to enter college then the next thing I’ll know, he’ll be graduating in just a few years.  He was just a little grade school boy when they last visited us here for vacation and that was the last time we saw him. Time flies fast indeed.  I heard from his parents that he’s been doing well in school.  He’s pretty smart so I know that he’ll ace the SAT Reasoning Test and eventually, will land on his dream college or university.
