I never knew about the different door types until now that we’re building our own house. I mean, I didn’t know that the standard and the most popular type of door is called a Slab. And that there are actually five types of door hardwares to choose from and the most expensive is the French type that costs about $1,500 to $5,500. A French type has two door panels that lock in the middle and swing in or out.
Other types are the Gliding, Dutch, and Bifold.
So what type of door does your humble abode has?
