Due to busy schedules at work lately, the husband has been missing his workout sessions in the gym during lunch breaks. He started his lunch dates with fitness equipment 3 weeks ago and it has yielded good results so far. His arm muscles has started to build some stiffness but he as far as his tummy is concerned, we’re yet to see some improvement. Actually, that was his major motivation why he decided to sign up. But since there are schedule conflicts lately, he’s thinking of buying himself even just a treadmill so he can still workout even just a little once in a while here at home. It’s very timely because I found some nordic trac coupons that we could use. I like the idea because I can make use of it, too for my exercise.

My Dad’s a Civil Engineer and is remarkably well in his craft. Until now that he’s 63, he hasn’t retired yet and it seems he has no plans to do so in the next couple of years. At one point, he hoped that one of us, his 4 children, will follow suit and take his steps. He even refused to dispose his Engineering books because he really wished that one of us will take Engineering in college. So just imagine how he got depressed when nobody among us got interested in cad drawings and Engineering subjects. But being the supportive father that he was and still is, he got over his disappointment and let us take the course that we wanted. Nonetheless, we made him proud because we did well with our studies and are now proud holders of different Bachelor’s Degrees.

I’m such a sucker for and get so emotional and affected every time I witness a bridal march. Perhaps, I could just relate how overwhelming a bride can feel because I was a former bride myself. Seeing the man you love the most waiting by the altar, all the eyes of the crowd are on you marveling how dashing you are in your bridal gown..all those thoughts rummaging into your mind can really make you overwhelmed and the feeling’s just so nice and heartwarming. I always tell hubby that by hook or by crook, I’ll definitely go through that feeling and I’ll walk down the aisle again as we renew our vows on our 25th and 50th wedding anniversary come 2030 and 2055, God-willing. I’ll relive our wedding day but perhaps we’ll deviate it a little like celebrate it in the beach just like destination weddings do. We do not have a budget for a Riviera Maya beachfront resort wedding for now but who knows, we’ll have some in the future. I can just imagine us renewing our vows with toes in the sand, under a charming gazebo with magnificent sea views and mariachis or Mexican harpist serenading in the reception.

I just have to list down our itinerary for this coming weekend as I expect that it will really be a very busy one. Just thinking about them already makes me want to look forward for Sunday evening so I can catch up with my breathing.
Friday – All day (who knows, could be all night) long partying with Twitter Bebot friends in an Ortigas hotel.
Saturday – Hotel check out at noon then proceed to Jollibee for the Twitter Bebot kids’ party sponsored by Tita Glo. We might also join the gang for dinner at MOA.
Sunday – Mass in the morning. Tentatively, Little Mansion visit after lunch then malling in the afternoon and canvass appliances and modern furniture for the house. So far we don’t have any Sunday night plans yet so I’m guessing that I can start resting by that time and resume my online routine.
So as early as now, let me greet you all Happy Weekend and have a great one, okay?
