I remember mentioning as early as October that I’d be getting the husband this as a Christmas gift:
Nikon Nikkor 55-200mm f/4-5.6G IF-ED AF-S DX VR Zoom
This 55-200mm VR lens costs about $250 now at Best Buy and about Php13,000+ at DPOnline. Well, he’s not yet a proud owner of one and I don’t think he will be by the next few months. I was dead set of getting this, in fact, I have funds segregated but there were sudden change of plans with my “acerito” laptop conking out then finally retired a month before Christmas. The husband generously gave in and said that it’s okay to postpone the procurement of his lens since a laptop is more important especially in my line of work. He said, it’s just fine to wait and he’s more than appreciative and grateful to receive a new pair of shoes instead.
