Our Future Driver
Just by looking at the content of my son’s toy chest now, I just know that tons of toy cars, matchboxes and toy trucks will be added into it each year. As early as now, he now has, or should I say, his Daddy has collected 6 Ferrari toy matchboxes for him. These are the Ferrari racing cars that were put on Php 99 promo for every tank up at a gasoline station before. As young as he is, he knows how to play with these toy cars already and he enjoys letting them revved up and banging and bumping each other. Then he also has a Chicco toy car that he can ride, maneuvered and manual power through his feet. His Daddy also gifted him a Plasma Car last Christmas. I am quite amazed how he has mastered to drive them and how he developed his sense of direction so fast. He can steer the wheel and can get to any direction or location he pleases. It looks like we need to save up as early as now for a real car that I’m sure he’ll request when he turns 18 and licensed to drive. Well for as long as he can promise that he’ll be careful and responsible enough to take care of it and for as long as he’d be knowledgeable about troubleshooting, its parts or honda accessories for example, then I’m fine with that. In fact, his Daddy would gladly retire from driving then and would be very willing to pass on the driving throne (errr, the steering wheel) to him.
