Bridal Shower Planning.
Two of my friends are getting married this year end while another two got married recently. Last year, we attended three weddings. Finally, I now have a number of friends who I can chat with about wifey and homemaking thoughts. I have a group who can now relate to my rants and raves as a wife and mom. I was one in our batch who got married the earliest so I was kinda “alone” while adjusting through the first year of married life. I can also feel that I’m “ahead” because I’m no longer asked to participate in the bouquet toss games in the wedding program for single ladies. And now, I’m feeling so much “ahead” because friends are turning to me, too, for bridal shower ideas. In fact, a friend who’ll be a Maid of Honor has just made me promise that I’ll help her organize our friend, Paula’s bridal shower on November. I’m kind of reluctant because I did not have a “wild” bridal shower before so I don’t have much idea too when it comes to games, activities and all. I can be a resource though for bridal shower gift ideas because I received helpful, fun and outrageous soon-to-be bride gifts then like kinky outfits to even Adult TV like Apple TV movies. I told my Maid of Honor friend that she can count on me but if she wishes to have a “macho” dancer spicing up the bridal shower, she better ask someone else’s help on that because I’m absolutely clueless where to book one.
