It has always been raining day and night this week. With that, summer has officially ended here in our neck of the woods. There is no storm warning or whatsoever but the rains were so heavy (and floods everywhere), lightnings so sharp and the loud thunders were so scary. Even my internet connection got zapped overnight last Thursday. I don’t know if there’s a connection with the heavy rains but it seems a lot of my online friends didn’t have connection neither. I tried contacting our ISP provider but my ears just went bummed out listening to the “hold” voice recording for 30 minutes: “Kindly hold, your call is important to us. Please wait as a customer service representative will get back to you shortly.” But apparently, no one got back to me until I lost the patience and hang up. Thankfully, my connection was restored the next day. Albeit slow (as it has always been), it’s better than nothing at all.
