All About Ann Arbor.
A close friend of mine will be having a brief vacation next week. She will fly to Michigan and meet up with her relatives whom she haven’t seen for a long time. As she is busy with work before her off days, I volunteered to book the hotel for her as well as research interesting places and facts about Ann Arbor. Ann Arbor is a city in Michigan and the county seat of Washtenaw County. It is also home to the University of Michigan, the dominant institution of higher learning in Ann Arbor. The city boasts of a great history, rich culture, robust economy and beautiful landmarks. Its nickname, “Tree Town”, stems from the rich and thick forestation of its parks and residential areas brought about by a historical reforestation campaign in the early 20th century.
There are actually a lot more interesting things about Ann Arbor or A² (“A-squared”) or A2 (“A two”) as sometimes called. And knowing my friend, who loves food, that’s where I concentrated my research on…the best restaurants that will ultimately please her taste buds. Thanks to Ann Arbor News, I know my friend will love A2 all the more because it is home to Domino’s Pizza’s and Zingerman’s Delicatessen’s headquarters. She could probably check if the Domino’s Pizza’s Super Big Taste Bailout Promo is still ongoing, then that would be even a bigger treat.
