If I’m not blogging, updating my Facebook or chatting with my twitter friends, my latest online addiction is searching for and browsing home inspiration galleries. I am starting to compile home interior and decorating ideas not for the place we currently stay at, but in our own home in the future. Hopefully in one or two years time, we’ll have one that we can finally call our own. But as early as now, I’m already collating ideas so that hubby and I won’t have a tough time deciding on the theme, motif and even the design for the whole house when that time comes.

Meanwhile, the hunt for the house has officially started this week, online that is. A friend of mine forwarded a link where we can scour for real estate and properties that are for sale in the metropolis. We saw a couple of prospects but we haven’t touched base yet with the sellers because we need to inquire from PAG-IBIG first how to go about their loan application process. Number two, we don’t have the enough funds yet.

Anyway, this won’t stop me from further collection home interior ideas. Here’s one I found this morning which makes a good living room inspiration.

I love how it looks bare but the contrasting colors on the wall complements the whole empty look. In my opinion, it will look good further if I’ll add let’s say smaller furniture or accessories like: clocks, bowls, framed prints and mirrors, wreaths, lamps, rugs. These are great finishing touches that make a house feel like a special home. Speaking of rugs, I found a nice online shop that offers Area Rugs ranging from contemporary to traditional designs. Most of their rugs are light on the budget with their clearance, rug deal of the day and final area cheap rugs clearance promos. With the above inspiration, I’m thinking of placing a contrasting green and orange-colored rugs on the floor for a great finishing. I think I found one on their site so I’ll include that too, in my home inspiration ideas bookmarked sites.
